One of the most popular and innovative choreographers of today’s dancehall scene worldwide is Brooklyn-based Blacka Di Danca.

Blacka tours solo as a choreographer throughout Europe, Canada, Central and South America, Russia and the United States teaching dancehall workshops 4 – 6 months out of the year. Blacka has worked with Diplo/Major Lazer, choreographing their “Lose yourself” music video, as well as being featured as a dancer in A$AP Rocky’s “Multiply” music video. He’s performed with Kiesza, Diplo and Skrillex at Madison Square Garden in New York City on New Year’s Eve – their performance opening up the show after the ball drop. He has also been featured in music videos with Shaggy, Davido and many other artists.

Blacka toured with Collie Buddz for nearly 2 years as a featured dancer during his live stage shows across the United States, Canada, Hawaii and Bermuda, and has recently been touring with Kreesha Turner. Media-wise, Blacka has performed on national television during the CBS Early Show and Cablevision’s FUSE TV for “The Hustle After-Party”. Blacka has been featured in the ‘New York Times’, Jamaica’s ‘Star’, as well as magazines and newspapers in Boston, Siberia, and Spain. Blacka has been in the dancehall scene for over 12 years and has proven to be consistent in all of his efforts.

His vision is to spread the art and culture of dancehall dancing to global measures through love, hard work and dedication.
